Name: Jamie Shepherd
Position: Managing Director

Background: Jamie has spent over 25 years in the construction industry delivering privately financed new build industrial and residential projects in the North West. His early career saw him working with small refurbishment projects before progressing onto larger new build developments. His expertise, achieved through long experience, lies in finding and assessing sites of interest, deciding on the appropriate development, progressing through the planning stage and managing a team to deliver projects on time and on budget. Jamie lives in Hale, Cheshire with his wife Linda and three children.

Interests: Jamie likes to spend his weekends sailing with friends and family and sampling fine wines.

Name: Chris Wright
Position: Business Development

Background: Chris is a graduate of The University of Manchester and had in excess of 20 years senior management experience in the construction steel industry prior to joining Forward Construction in 1999. Chris lives with his wife Greta in Alderley Edge, Cheshire

Interests: Chris is an avid Manchester City supporter and general sports enthusiast. He is a keen golfer and skier and has travelled the world to participate in both sports.

Name: Damian Cafferty M.I.C.E
Position: Project Manager

Background: Damian has spent a 21 year career in construction having studied at the University of Surrey for his degree in Civil Engineering. His expertise has seen him manage large industrial and residential projects in southern Africa and the United Kingdom in addition to working on the reclamation of brownfield sites adjacent to the River Thames as part of the London flood defence project. Damian lives in Hale with his wife, Caroline and his two daughters and two stepsons. He has three grandchildren which making him an incredibly young granddad.

Interests: Damian considers himself a DIY fiend and spends his spare time renovating his house and gardening, with reading in-between where time allows

Name: Myles Chance
Position: Financial Controller

Background: Myles Chance qualified as a chartered accountant in 1971 and was admitted to fellowship of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales in 1973. After three years post qualification experience with Turquands Barton Mayhew & Company, an international firm of accountants, Myles spent the rest of his 34 year career exploring many avenues of finance. He joined the Forward Property Group in 2004 where he is responsible for all aspects of financial administration including preparation of final accounts. Myles lives with his wife in Bowdon, Cheshire.

Interests: Myles’ biggest passions are sport and collecting model railways. He likes to spend his weekend playing tennis and gardening.
